This thesis investigates the issue of waste; one that is not very commonly associated with the field of architecture, yet certainly affects the places we inhabit. The case of Aurangabad, the tourism capital of Maharashtra, is taken as the subject of study. The current Solid Waste Management (SWM) system in Aurangabad is studied and its effect on the city's metabolism is discussed in this project.
